Medusa Records presents their sixth release “Out of Control” a sneaky, end of festival season banger by label boss, Michael Cignarale. “Out of Control” is heavily inspired by main stage, 90’s rave classics such as Awesome 3’s “Don’t Go” and N-Joi’s “Anthem”- making this track a decadent, big room, future rave essential. It also features a lead vocal sample inspired by a classic disco diva- bringing a new life, stage, and emotional connection to this already beloved dancefloor gem. This is a slight departure from Michael’s usual 80’s and 90’s NY-style house tracks; showing something ravier. However, it still has layers of Michael’s signature luscious M1 piano chords that form a hypnotic and memorable piano line throughout the track. All of it is layered on top of a ravey house and breakbeat groove- making “Out of Control” sound BIG, massive and reminiscent an early outdoor raves with some diva flavor. This is Michael’s second solo release on Medusa Records after being named one of DJ Mag’s “Eight Emerging Artists You Need to Hear,” and first since the Grammy’s acknowledged Medusa Records as one of the Top LGBTQ independent record label’s this summer.
