Michael Cignarale is an iconic new young legend of the queer underground: co-founder and resident DJ at Medusa (one of China's longest-running queer parties and record labels), creative director at Shanghai-based queer design studio WAVE, and shapeshifting vocalist known for their glitter-drenched visage and underground club hits like 2021's “She Takes Me Over”. His second EP for Maximum Airtime comprises two chuggy peak-time floor-fillers sounding like Patrick Cowley-meets-Junior Vasquez-meets-Paranoid London. Rounding out the EP is a killer remix from Michael himself, plus a deep afterhours refix by Chinese producer Knopha (Mood Hut)!
